Steve Marshall Spotted In George Harrison Video
Pants' theremin player Steve Marshall was recently spotted playing keyboards in George Harrison's 1987 video (Got My Mind) Set On You. It's a fucking awful song...apart from the keyboard bits which are, of course, fucking brilliant. You don't get to see Steve much - what with it being a George Harrison video and not a Steve Marshall video - although there are a couple of fleeting glimpses of him- as you can see below. I've linked the two screenshots to the (ir)relevant youtube page...if you're interested.

Apparently George Harrison was so ridiculously and mind-bogglingly rich in 1987 that he paid Steve an astounding £7.00 for the 9 days it took to film this video masterpiece. However, he never cashed the postal order and it's currently stuck to the wall in his studio next to a postcard his mum sent him from Torquay in 1972. The next time we're there I'll try and get a photo of it.

In other news. THE FORTHCOMING PANTS GIG AT THE BEAR IN MARLBOROUGH HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ILLNESS. Dan has developed some weird leg disease, coupled with high blood pressure. His doctor has told him not to do anything too stenuous for the next three weeks. Apparently playing the drums counts as "too strenuous". Going to the pub and getting shit-faced doesn't though. Apparently.

In more other news. Moose is currently preparing for the World Marzipan Modelling Championships in Hamburg, Ollie (sic) is creosoting a fence and Fal is learning how to wank with his left hand after cutting his right thumb on a tin of rice pudding.
